Our Support Services offers structured interventions and guidance geared towards Persons Living with HIV (PHAs) and those affected in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.

We Offer

Activities offered through Support Services varies from year to year and depends on population specific needs and the availability of resources.

Case Management

  • Client accompaniment to medical appointments
  • Community partner referrals (ex. primary care physicians, food banks)
  • Adherence to medication regimes
  • Assistance with government forms
  • Wellness checks

Practical Assistance

  • Health and wellness presentations for PHAs and their families
  • Educational workshops/presentations
  • Transportation support
  • Complementary therapies

Food & Nutrition

  • Food package drop-off (available on a case by case basis)
  • Distribution of Ensure (meal replacement shakes)*
  • Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner for PHAs in Windsor and Chatham
  • Distribution of Goodfellow boxes (Christmas)

Social Programming

  • Peer-led social events
  • Camp Wendake
  • Opening Doors (postponed until further notice)
  • World AIDS Day Candlelight Vigil

*Based on physician recommendation and availability
